CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!

I just read your whole story and it has me more inspired than ever to run a marathon. I can't wait. All that pain sounds like more hell than anything in my life, but I just want to do it so bad after reading about how amazing you felt :)

Christine - I got your message and I haven't caught up on your blog yet, but I just wanted to double check... are you registered already? And for the full marathon? Or are you doing half or Goofy? Let me know and I'll sign up today. This may be just what I needed to get me to actually commit to a marathon (though hopefully I'll get my act in gear and do one before January).

I've already done Disney, so I'm good thanks.

So sorry to hear you got burned as well! I'm stuck on a plane right now trying to get back to Boston, but I think when I get in I need to head for the hospital... scary!

In any case, I'm signing up for Disney right this second. So glad you suggested this... it should be fantastic!

Sorry to take over your comments page, but wanted to let you know... I am officially registered, and I'm now starting to try to get my friends to register too, and make it a big party. YAY!

Love the pics! And this is freaky, but when I went to Phoenix for the Rock N Roll marathon - I brought home the same running shoes (brooks trance), except in purple.

I just read through your whole marathon story (sorry, I'm behind!) - and my goodness girl - you have inspired me! You have only been running since December? Like at all?! That is great. I've been running for just about a year now and I can't imagine doing a full marathon. I love your attitude though, I think I'm going to take your approach from now on! I CAN do it! :)

IronGambit said...

I missed you because I did the half, and ran to the MARTA to avoid the cold! :)

I ran the Disney marathon this year - you're going to love it! I'm passing on 2009 but I'm hoping to take on the Goofy Challenge in 2010!

That would be so much fun to run that race. I volunteered at the Disney world tri, this past Sept. and they really know how to put on an event. You will have so much fun there.
