So I've been contemplating jumping the gun and buying a nice jogging stroller....(maybe I should spring for some adult depends first...see post below on post-partum pants peeing). Its one of those things that I think if you are going to jog with your baby....its better to not skimp on the stroller you get. I feel like you are more likely to give up running...if you have rickety stroller that makes an already challenging task harder. So after reading some reviews...Ive come to the virtual conclusion that the BOB is the way to go!
The revolution that is!! any thoughts? experiences? opinions? HELP!! :)

I was going to comment on your earlier post but let me say here "congrats, your little one is adorable"!!!!!!! And you look so tiny in the picture.
My blog has too gone on hiatis - 13wks, new condo, and attempting to run....
I was just looking online with my mom at the BOB revolution. I hear the swivel wheel is key!! Let me know what you get and how it goes!!!
I just bought the BOB dualie this week (since I'm having twins), but the BOB is the way to go FOR SURE! I got the least expensive double because of the price, but if I was just getting one, I'd go Revolution all the way. It's so pretty!
I have the Bob Revolution and love it! Definitely worth the $$ if you're gonna use it on a regular basis!
Plus, until the baby is old enough for running (about 6 months old), you can buy a car seat adapter for it and use it as a regular stroller.
I have this stroller in both the single and double versions. By far the best baby related purchase I have ever made. I used it for all three of my kids (my oldest is almost 5) from the time they were 8 days old. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!
Oh, and definitely get the one with the swivel wheel. It can lock into a fixed position if you want too!
RE: You rquestion about the front wheel:
I do not run with the front wheel fixed. Supposedly, you're supposed to so the ride is smoother for the child, but if you do run with it fixed, you have to pick up the front wheel and turn the stroller in order to turn. Kind of a pain, in my opinion. I run with the front wheel "loose" and it works great and Norah doesn't complain.
But, I have only good things to say about the Bob Revolution. It's light, easy to push, turns on a dime (with that pivoting front wheel), and is very durable. It's spendy, yes, but I bought mine back in Feb and I put about 12-15 miles a week on it, so it's been well-worth the cost to me.
Plus, Bob's have good re-sale value (check 'em out on eBay) so if you buy it new and then find yourself selling it in a few months or years, you'll likely get a good return on it.
Congratulations! And YES get a Bob.... they rock! The car seat attachment is a total necessity. My daughter is now two and still loves going on runs in it. Also, I have trained for several halves and a full, and have only gotten one flat. This thing is amazing, I am telling you!
Everyone I know has it and loves it, either this model or the ironman. Go for it. Running with the jogging stroller is not as bad as I thought it owuld be.
Yes, I've only heard good things about BOBs too. I have a different brand, but very similar. You didn't ask me specifically, but in regards to the front wheel - as Jess said, I too run without it fixed. It makes turning wayyy easier. However, just watch out that you don't turn too sharply, because it can turn sideways on you and if you have too much forward momentum (i.e. like when you run) it CAN tip over. This almost happened to me during a stroller boot camp class, but never when I've been out on a run. Anyhow, just something to watch out for, and likely why they suggest locking it during running.
I have the BOB ironman and love it! The baby is precious congrats girl,,
Awe your little guy is just precious! Congratulations!!
In the stroller world I have the Ironman BOB, love it. Now I just have to get back to running like I used to.
